Thanks to our course superintendent for the following update. It addresses a number of queries raised by members.
1. Contractors have moved onto Tubber Lane in front of the 7th Tee to carry out work for SDCC (South Dublin County Council). They are putting in a culvert across the road to take water from the stream from one side of the road to the other side. This has nothing to do with the golf club but more so for the residents who live up the Lane and will help prevent flooding on the road in the future. The 7th Tee is closed during construction work (but will reopen for weekend golf) and has been moved across the road temporarily. It is envisaged that work will take 2 weeks to complete.
2. Blue lines to the sides of the 11th & 13th Greens: These are the proposed shape to the new greenside bunkers. Work will start in 2 weeks time.
