Bicycle clips have been retrieved from storage. Cars which have never been outside the Pale have been topped up with water and oil. This is all in preparation for the mass exodus to Clonmel to support our ladies in their quest to win the Eastern Regional Final of the Miele All Ireland Interclub Fourball competition on Monday 12th September. Tee off will be from 9.40 to 10.10 am.

The forward party had already set up camp in Clonmel by early evening on Saturday. Their voices will be heard in the hotels and hostelries of the town over the course of the night as they announce their arrival to all and sundry. Another party will leave tomorrow, Sunday, in a bid to get acclimatised to their surroundings in advance of the big match. The main party are expected to leave early Monday morning.

For all those too sick or infirm (or working) to travel, do not despair. The club website will bring you live updates from the course over the duration of the match.
